Creating Easy Halloween Treats for Your Students is a great way to make them feel special in the first couple months of school. Teachers are busy so it’s helpful to have student gifts that are easy to create and easy on your budget. Here are a couple ideas for easy Halloween treats for your students. They would also be great to share with homeroom parents who might be helping with Halloween parties.
Halloween Treat Bag Toppers
These cute toppers are free when you sign up for my newsletter. They’re super flexible depending on how much time and money you have to spend. You can use a snack size bag for a smaller budget or a sandwich bag if you want to give more candy. The cost will also vary based on the type of candy you use so you can be budget friendly with your treats.
These treat bags are snack size with Halloween Hershey Kisses, candy corns, and Tootsie Roll pops but you can use whatever candy you’d like. Orange Jelly Pumpkin Candy would be fun and delicious too!
These would look cute with Halloween mini erasers too. If you don’t want to make one for each student in your class, you can always make a couple and use them as prizes for your Halloween games or as classroom rewards.
Halloween Homework Passes
Students are so busy with after school activities and it’s sometimes a challenge to finish homework. That’s why homework passes are a great option for a Halloween “treat”. Simply fill out the student’s name and your name on the homework pass and give them out for Halloween. Make sure students understand how they can be used. For example, I let students use them for any homework assignment but they couldn’t use it for classwork, quizzes, or exams. I also told them to keep track of it because I wouldn’t issue new passes for lost ones.
If you’re looking for something easy to use, try these Halloween editable labels in my TpT store. There are 4 different sizes and 7 different designs to choose from and they’re editable making it easy to customize for your class.
Halloween Candy Bar Wrappers
These are really fun because everyone loves getting a full size candy bar as a treat! Using Halloween candy bar wrappers is an easy way to take a regular Hershey Bar and turn it into a personalized gift. You can buy big packages of Hershey bars at Costco, Sam’s Club or even at Amazon to help save on the cost. If you have PowerPoint then it’s easy to personalize with your name and your students’ names. You can use your favorite fonts and even use different colors to match the wrappers. Make for your students or as class prizes for Halloween games. They also make great gifts for co-workers.
Halloween Goody Bags
Halloween goody bags are great because you can fill them with anything you want. Having choices means you can manage how much you spend on the goodies inside. Halloween candy, toys, pencil top erasers, stickers, stamps, temporary tattoos, and pencils are all great options for filling your goody bags. I like these goody bags because they have a drawstring to keep all the goodies inside and they come in super cute designs for Halloween. Plus, with 72 bags, you can use them for more than one year making them budget friendly.
Halloween Cupcake Toppers
Everyone loves cupcakes but they can get a little pricey sometimes. I love these adorable cupcake toppers because it’s an easy way to dress up plain cupcakes. Bake your own or buy them at the store – it’s totally flexible. We have food sensitivities in our home so these are perfect for that. I can bake my allergy friendly cupcakes then add these toppers to make them more festive.
These are perfect for classroom Halloween parties. We’re going to use them for my daughter’s Halloween Dance at school.
I hope you find these suggestions helpful for easy Halloween “treats” for your students. Happy Halloween!
